THINGS TO SEE AND DO
A must-do activity is the walk up to Hill Inlet at the north end of Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island, the largest of the islands. From there you'll enjoy one of the best views of the beach. See the amazing swirling colours as the white sand merges into the shimmering blue water - an incredible natural spectacle not to be missed.
Swimming and snorkelling
The Whitsunday Islands are perfect for swimming and snorkelling. The water is calm and stays above 25 degrees most of the year. Imagine strolling into the blue water from the white beach or diving from your yacht/boat to cool off. The Islands are surrounded by coral reefs that are home to a huge variety of marine life.
